At Mark E. Richardons, DDS, our passion for dental health goes way beyond the walls of our clinic. On June 13th, Dr. Mark, Holly, and Tina had the incredible privilege of volunteering at the Michigan Dental Association Foundation Mission of Mercy Dental Clinic.
While the Michigan Dental Association Foundation hosts this incredible clinic every two years at various locations throughout Michigan, this year was incredibly special—it was the very first time the event was held right here in Kalamazoo! It also marked the very first time our team has participated, and it is safe to say it won’t be our last.
It was an unforgettable experience filled with hard work, community spirit, and a lot of smiles.
An Inspiring Experience
We were incredibly humbled by the sheer scale of the event and the resilience of the patients. People traveled from all across Michigan and neighboring states just to receive care. Some even spent the night in the parking lot to ensure they could see a dentist.
According to the Michigan Dental Association, the event successfully served around 800 patients in need! It was a true honor to serve alongside so many dedicated volunteers and help bring relief, hope, and smiles to those in need.
