Nancy and Valerie, both new additions to the dental clinic, spend their time doing the important work of maintaining healthy teeth. Nancy brings nearly three decades of expertise to her role as a dental hygienist at our office. Since earning her associate's degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 1996, she has dedicated herself to creating welcoming environments that ease dental anxiety. Her extensive experience allows her to perform thorough cleanings, take detailed medical histories, and educate patients about proper oral hygiene techniques with skill and compassion.
Valerie's 37-year journey in dentistry reflects a passion that began in childhood, as she genuinely loved visiting the dentist and knew early on she wanted to join the field. After completing her training at Kellogg Community College, she has spent decades helping patients achieve healthier smiles through routine hygiene visits, always showing positivity, compassion, and respect.
In our dental office, both hygienists excel at the comprehensive care that defines their profession. They conduct:

Outside the dental clinic, Nancy does embroidery, the Ukrainian art of Pysanky egg writing, and gardening with her sisters. Valerie stays active through camping, running, kayaking, and hiking, bringing that same energetic approach to her patient care.
