Our Commitment to Our Community at Home and Abroad
We believe in giving back to our local community and beyond in meaningful ways. From volunteering for Taste of Heaven to the Family Health Center Dental Day of Caring, we’re dedicated to making a difference.
Dental Care Missions in Honduras
Dr. Mark and Tina have joined multiple healthcare missions to Honduras with the Luke Society. Dr. Mark served as a dentist and dental coordinator, organizing daily activities for the dental team. The volunteer doctors and dentists provided medical and dental care to over 1,200 patients in mountainous regions within a week.
Kalamazoo Dental Day of Caring
Locally, members of our team contribute to the Kalamazoo Dental Day of Caring, an annual event organized by the Kalamazoo Family Health Center. This day offers free dental services to uninsured residents of Kalamazoo County, with Dr. Mark, Holly, and Tina volunteering their expertise.
School Screenings and Education
Dr. Mark is also involved in screening children for dental issues before the school year and participates in educating students about dental health during Kids Dental Health Month.
Supporting Local Non-Profits
Dr. Mark and Tina volunteer at Taste of Heaven in Kalamazoo, a non-profit gourmet popcorn and sweets shop. This initiative supports Kalamazoo Youth for Christ, combining his passion for community service with local youth support.
Tina volunteers with the Family Health Center, and she’s actively involved in P.E.O. International. She also participates in initiatives like Books for Babies with the Ladies Library Association of Kalamazoo and Kids Food Basket.
Empowering Change, One Act of Kindness at a Time
Members of our team have partnered with the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission and Kids Food Basket and contributed to Fleece Blankets for Bronson Children's Hospital. Holly, another team member, dedicates her time to supporting paralyzed veterans.
In everything we do, from dental care to community outreach, we are committed to positively impacting and serving those in need. It's our way of giving back and showing gratitude for the support we receive from our wonderful community.
